Graphic Organizers


1) Use the graphic organizer provided to break down the ideas of each poem. In the top box write the title and author. For the main idea write a description about the piece including literary terms used and vocabulary important to the understanding of the story. In each of the lower boxes define and give an example from the story of the vocabulary/literary terms used.

2) Complete the KWL chart before, during, and after each selected piece is read. (Shorter poems and stories will be grouped together by author.)

3) Complete this idea web placing "Romantic Authors" at the center. Branch off with authors, terms, vocabulary, pieces, historic information, etc that we cover in class and using the eStudy Guide.
